Stratford’s SCI Contractors Minor Bantam MD’s notched another game in the win column Sunday afternoon in London against the West London Hawks. It was a tough hard hitting game but the Warriors came out on top with a 4-3 win. Owen Brooks scored the first goal at the halfway point of the first period on a pass from Nathan Ferguson and Peter Williams. Three minutes later Peter Williams netted another one on the power play from Garrett Wells and Jack Ratz. The second period had just got underway when Williams scored another one with Ferguson and Brooks earning helpers. The Hawks fought back and scored twice in the last two minutes but Carson Dunseith scored an empty net goal on a pass from Mark VanDam to seal the win. It was a hard fought game with emotions running high. The win puts the Warriors solidly in second place in the Western MD Minor Bantam League.
