Warriors defeat 99ers
Written by Dave Graff. The SMHA Perth Auto Dismantler Major Atom rep team had mixed results in three games over the last four days, coming away with a win, loss and tie in Alliance Minor Hockey action.

Thursday in London an unassisted goal by Colten Cowen midway through the third period resulted in a point for the Warriors as they tied host Oakridge 2-2. Caleb Musselman had an earlier tally with assists going to Carter Musselman and Braydon Tinning. Goaltender Nolan Traynor made several timely saves for the Warriros and defensemen Jack Whitehead and Nathan Graff both had strong two way games for the visitors.
Saturday in St. Thomas three powerplay goals by the home side resulted in a 4-2 Warrior loss. Owen Duiker and Cowen scored for the visitors with Calaen Trupp and Brody Jeffrey picking up assists.  Trupp and Spencer Eidt both played well on the back end for the losing side.
On Sunday the Warriors finally got on track, beating visiting Brantford 4-2 at the Allman arena. After Brantford had opened the scoring early, Duiker, Zachari Carman and Erik Smith scored the next three to give the home side a comfortable lead through two periods.  Duiker added some insurance in the third with his second goal of the game assisted by Smith and Jeffrey. Caleb Musselman added two assists for the winners while Carman, Tinning and Zach Freeland added one a piece.
