Warriors Win One on The Road
The Hockey Training Above Novice Tier 3 Warriors faced off against the London Hawks 3A team for a Thursday night show down.
In a game filled with end to end action Brenden Sippel and Aidan Hill spent the night working hard and making key saves. After a scoreless first period, Colin Slattery dangled in to put the Warriors on the board for the lone goal in the second. The Hawks were able to nab one to start the third, but Slattery had plans of his own; grabbing two more goals for the natural hattrick. Hill continued to stone their offense, while Liam Ollson and Aaron Green continually interupted any plans the Hawks had of getting on the board. Carter Petrie nabbed another goal for the Warriors late in the third and Stratford walked away with a 4-1 win.
