Aggressive Play by Warriors
On Saturday, Hishons Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors hosted the Sarnia Jr Sting, losing 4-1.  It was a close match with lots of action at both ends of the ice.

Gabe Emms scored the lone Warrior goal with an assist from Owen Gaylor.  The line of Daniel Rusen-Steele, Mark Pyzowski and Noah Roth played aggressively in both ends and passed well resulting in no goals being scored on their line. Defensively, Eric Haynes had a great game including a diving save in front of the net in the second period.

On Sunday, the Warriors lost a hard-fought game to Oakridge, 4-0.  Jesse Merkel was fantastic in net this weekend, keeping the scores of both games low.  Brett Knechtel was aggressive on the puck and the boards. Defensively, Kaleb Martin was strong in playing the man and had a couple of poke checks while Colton Kuepfer displayed his speed and back-checking skills. Everyone on the team played aggressively and worked hard this weekend.
