On Saturday, November 8th, the Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Rep. team hosted The Waterloo Wolves Black at the Allman Arena. The Warriors opened the scoring early on a two-on-one when Nathan Graff set up Ethan Aarts, who beat the defenseman and found the back of the Wolves net. The Wolves responded with a goal late in the first to tie the game at 1 and struck again early in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. The Warriors responded quickly, pinning Waterloo into their own end with strong forechecking by Michael Tigani and pinching defense by Owen Duiker. This attacking play began to wear down the Wolves and the Warriors were able to tie the game mid-way through the second when Caelan Trupp set up Carter Musselman who fired a hard shot into the back of the net. The Warriors continued to attack, and took the lead near the end of the second when Owen Fraser set up Carter Stock who fired the puck to the Wolves net. The goalie made the initial save, but Zach Freeland was there to bury the rebound to give the Warriors a 3-2 lead. In the third period, the Warriors continued to apply pressure, wearing down the Wolves defense and scoring three unanswered goals. Colten Cowen scored the first when he took a pass from Braydon Tinning and fired a shot just inside the post. The second came on a powerplay, when Caleb Musselman set up Zach Carman who knocked the puck home. The third goal came when Tinning fired a perfect breakaway pass to Cowen who went top shelf to give the Warriors a 6 - 2 victory.
