On Wednesday November 19th, the Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Rep team hosted an exhibition game against the Mitchell Meteors. The Warriors struck first with 5 minutes left in the first when Carter Musselman made a crisp pass to his brother Caleb, who fired the puck to the net. The Meteors' goalie made the initial save, but Colten Cowen was there to pick up the rebound and put it in the back of the net. The second and third periods were marked by strong defensive play from the Warriors' back end, led by Nathan Graff and hard forechecking from forward Erik Smith. This pressure lead to a power play opportunity late in the third and the Warriors cashed in to take a 2 to 0 lead when Jack Whitehead set up Ethan Aarts who fired the puck home. The Warriors worked hard for all three periods to earn the victory and clutch saves from Nolan Traynor in the first half and Dailey Trainor in second half secured the shut-out victory.
