Warriors Grab Shut Out on The Road!
The Hishon Custom Novice Tier 1 Stratford Warriors lost on home ice Saturday, but grabbed a shut out on the road Sunday night.

On Saturday night the third place Warriors took on the second place West London Hawks.  It was a hard fought battle between two evenly matched teams. In the end West London broke a 1-1 tie with one minute left in the game.  Blair Stokes had the lone goal for Stratford, assisted by Colin Schultz, and despite a big effort Brenden Sippel took the loss in net.

On Sunday night the Warriors travelled to London to take on the Oakridge Aeros.  The Warriors struck first mid-way through the first period with a hard shot from Lukas Steele, assisted by Colin Schultz and Austin Musselman.  Carter Petrie nabbed the second goal on the night (unassisted) with one second remaining in the first to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead.  Grady Murphy scored a beauty, assisted by Cody Bach and Schultz for the lone goal in the second period.   In the third period, with the Warriors on the power play Nathan Siebert came away with one, assisted by Blair Stokes and Schultz to give the Warriors a 4-0 lead.  Gritty play by Ryan Ganselves paid off mid-way through the third as netted one, assisted by Bach.  Nathan Siebert nabbed his second of the game to finish off night, assisted by Musselman.  Aidan Hill held the Aeros scoreless for the shut out with some key saves all night!
