Big Pressure~ Big Response!
The Hishon Custom Novice Tier 1 Warriors had some big pressure to win this weekend and they answered the call!

Saturday afternoon saw the Warriors take on the third place West London Hawks.  After three periods of play and some big saves by netminder Aidan Hill, the Warriors came up short with a 1-0 loss.  On Sunday afternoon the Warriors found themselves in a "do or die situation".  A win against Oakridge would secure a fourth place finish, while a loss would end the season.  With the boys eager and the fans ready, the game got underway with Oakridge scoring two goals in the first.  The Warriors decided to take charge in the second with Carter Petrie putting Stratford on the board, assisted by Lukas Steele and Grady Murphy.  Late in the second Aaron Green tied the game with a shorthanded goal.  With the season on the line the boys knew they needed the go a head goal- and it came at the 12 min mark from Colin Slattery, assisted by Colin Schultz and Petrie.  A solid team effort, including some massive saves from Hill gave the Warriors a fourth place finish in the playoffs.  They will face Sarnia in the next round.

Game times/dates TBA.
