Warriors Split Weekend Games
On Saturday, the Neumeister Warriors Tier II Novice team lost to the undefeated London Bandits by a score of 5-2. The team got off to a decent start but were down 3-0 heading into the third period. Tyson Cassone played well on defence for the Warriors and scored their first goal early in the third period with the helper from Zach Scrimgeour. Logan Hallock scored the Warriors second goal with the assist from Liam Ollson. Scrimgeour and Liam Eddleston played a steady game on defence.

On Sunday the Warriors traveled to Oakridge for a late afternoon tilt with the Aeros. The boys were not intimidated by the opposition and got back in the win column with a 7-2 victory. Sam Binns opened the scoring with assists to Logan Hallock and Aaron Jones. Binns and Dylan Abel scored the second and third goals of the game, both unassisted. Next in line to find the twine was Liam Ollson with Hallock drawing the assist. Zach Schultz opened the scoring in the third and drew the helper on Binns' hat trick goal. Rowan Smith scored the Warriors seventh goal of the game. Brody Cowen played well in net.
