Warriors Split Weekend Games
On Saturday the Warriors played in Sarnia and came out on the losing end by a score of 6-5. The starting lineup saw three call ups from the Tier III Novice team. The home side got up 5-2 and Stratford came back to tie it at five but it wasn't enough. Sam Binns scored the first two goals of the game, one unassisted and the second with a helper from Dylan Abel. Zach Schultz scored next with the assist to Binns. Rowan Smith and Tyson Cassone finished out the scoring with assists going to Binns, Schultz, Logan Hallock and Owen Chadwick.

On Sunday the Warriors bounced back in the win column with a 6-4 win in Oakridge. The first two periods saw back and forth scoring with Stratford taking a 4-2 lead into the final frame. Logan Hallock opened the scoring with an assist to Liam Ollson. Tyson Cassone scored the second goal of the game to make it 2-1 Warriors heading to the second period. Ollson scored to open the second period with help from Zac Scrimgeour and Cassone. Cassone scored his second of the game on a nice rush with the assist to Ollson. Aaron Jones made it 5-2 Stratford with the lone assist to Ollson. Zach Schultz finished up the scoring. Lachlan Stanley played well in the third period keeping the two points in the hands of the Warriors.
