Neumeister Motor Novice fought two hard battles this past weekend.
The Neumeister Motors Novice Warriors played two games on the weekend.  On Saturday, the team hosted the London Bandits.

The Bandits outshot Stratford and kept Brock Herman and Jake Taylor busy all game.  Bandits came out with three goals in the first before Stratford replied in the second with a  goal by Andrew Davis who followed his own shot in and pounced on the rebound putting it past the Bandits netminder.  Stratford held strong in the second and third periods matching goal for goal with the Bandits.  Harrison Robinet kept Stratford close in the third with a goal, and assist went to Liam Benton.  Jake Taylor made several key saves during the game keeping Stratford within striking distance.  Game ended with Bandits winning 5-2.

On Sunday, Stratford made the trek to London to face the undefeated West London Hawks.  Stratford came out strong in the first period striking first with a goal by Harrison Robinet after a scramble in front of the net.  Jake Taylor was solid in net allowing Stratford to finish the first period tied 1-1.  Second period saw the Bandits step it up overtaking the Warriors.  Stratford’s last goal came from Andrew Davis in the third period with an assist going to Finley Newton.  Stratford will play host to Oakridge Aeros and Sarnia Sting next weekend.
