Novice Warriors Complete Regular Season With Triple Weekend Win
The Rheo Thompson novice Warriors completed their regular season this past weekend with 3 wins, beating both West London White and West London Black on Saturday in a double header in London and completed the weekend with a home win against West London White at the Allman on Sunday.

Saturday morning would see the Warriors face West White in a pre-lunch matchup. Hudsyn Chaput would lead the Warriors to victory with a hattrick while Jake Schultz would add a single in the win. The scoresheet was full of helpers and leading the way with a pair each was Caden Ollson and Griffin Harvey. Single assists belonged to Jack Bannon, Maddyx Chaput, Evan Hughes, Reid Morris and Nate VanBakel. Jakob Strahm played well the full game for the Warriors earning the 4-3 win.
 
Game 2 for the boys would have the puck drop at 3:30pm, giving the boys a short break and time for lunch. The second game proved to show much more jump for the boys as they would defeat West Black by a score of 8-0. Maddyx Chaput would lead the way with (5), Hudsyn Chaput would net a pair and Caden Ollson had a single. The lines were clicking and earning assists for the Warriors were Jack Haines, Jake Schultz, Caellum Parsons, Piers Murray, Reid Morris and Nate VanBakel. Carter Keating was stellar in the pipes earning the shutout.
 
Sunday would have West London White visit the Allman for a second matchup vs the Warriors on the weekend. The Hawks were hungry to win and would jump out to a 2-0 lead on Stratford until Maddyx Chaput would get the boys on the board 0:15 after the 2nd Hawks goal, with the helper belonging to Jake Schultz and Evan Hughes. Stratford would control the 2nd period scoring 3 unanswered goals by Evan Hughes, assisted by Hudsyn Chaput and Jake Schultz. The 2nd and 3rd goals for the frame were scored by Hudsyn Chaput and Jake Schultz, with the helpers belonging to Maddyx Chaput, Fischer MacPherson and Reid Morris. The Hawks would battle back nearing the end of the 3rd period with 2 quick goals leaving the game tied 4-4 until Maddyx Chaput would breakaway from the center ice faceoff scoring the winner for Stratford on a perfect deke to seal the win with 0:32 remaining in the game.
 
The Novice Warriors would complete their regular season with a second place finish in the West Division with a record of 17-3-4, currently 2pts behind the Sting who have a game on hand. The coaching staff is extremely proud of what this group of young eager players has accomplished to date and the improvement of their team play and skill development.  Playoff action for the Thompson Warriors will begin next Saturday Jan 14/17 in London against North London Nationals.
