Thompson Warriors Take Third Win In Playoffs
The Rheo Thompson Novice Warriors were at home on Sunday to face the London Bandits for game 3 of the playoffs and demonstrated one of their best efforts as a team this season.

The Warriors jumped out to a 4-0 lead by the end of the 1st period and didn't look back. Some of the highlights of the game was the great defence of Owen Blackburn, Griffin Harvey and Jack Bannon, who were consistent at shutting down any offence the Bandits could conjure up. The Warriors outshot their opponents by a margin of 23-4 and capitalized on 2 powerplay opportunities they were rewarded with. The boys moved the puck well, played as a team and were hungry for their third win this playoff season, defeating the Bandits by a score of 10-1. Many of the Warriors found their way to the scoresheet earning either a goal or an assist contibuting to the win, that of which included Hudsyn Chaput, Maddyx Chaput, Jack Haines, Jake Schultz, Caden Ollson, Nate VanBakel, Evan Hughes, Fischer McPherson and Owen Blackburn. Sharing the duties in the net were Carter Keating and Jakob Strahm.

Next action for the Warriors is a home and home weekend versus the Sarnia Sting this Saturday and Sunday.
