Thompson Warriors Win Home and Home Against West London In Playoffs
This past weekend the Novice Rheo Thompson Warriors played a home and home series against the West London ( White ) Hawks, coming away with convincing victories both days.

Saturday had the Warriors travel to London for the first of the 2 matchups. The Hawks would strike first but Stratford would quickly answer back with a marker of their own. That was the final time the boys would find themselves trailing in the game. At the end of the second they would maintain a 4-2 lead until the Hawks would tighten the game early in the 3rd and tie the game midway through the period. Stratford would finally pull away in the last 5 minutes of the game as they added 4 quick goals to end the game with the win 8-4. The Warriors outshot their opponents by a count of 23-18 on this day.
