Weekend Wrap Up from West London Tournament
The AJ Jackson Construction Minor Atom MD team competed in the West London Minor Hockey Association Byron Optimist Competitive Tournament this past weekend and finished with two wins and two losses.

The Warriors were in the tougher of the two divisions competing against two of their regular season opponents.
On Friday morning, the team started off the tournament with a 7-0 win against Sarnia. Ryan McGill earned the shutout.  Dylan Abel led the scoring with three goals, Liam Ollson with two and Logan Hallock and Nick Wagner chipped in with singles.  Sam Binns had a good game up front pitching in with two assists. Defenceman Nick Wagner was player of the game for the Warriors. In the second game of the day, the Warriors lost 5-4 to the London Nationals. Scoring for the Warriors were Ollson and Binns with two each. Ollson had a strong game up front and Jordan Keane showed great hustle at the back end. The first game on Saturday seen the Warriors take on the Oakridge Aeros. After a great start to the game, it was tough going the rest of the game for Stratford with both of their goals scored while being two men short. Zach Schultz and Ollson scored the goals while Dylan Abel was named player of the game. The Warriors bounced back the last game of the tournament defeating the Kitchener Rangers Red 4-2. After being down 2-0 heading into the third period, the Warriors stormed back with four unanswered goals. It was probably the teams best effort of the tournament. Lachlan Stanley had a great game in net and scoring for Stratford were Rowan Smith, Schultz, Ellis Schnurr and Ollson. The defence had a strong game led by Luke Jackson and Schultz. Jackson was named player of the game. Coming up this weekend for the Warriors are two home games.
