Big win for Warriors!
The AJ Jackson Construction Minor Atom MD Warriors defeated the first place North London Nationals 5-2 at the Allman Arena on Sunday afternoon.
It was their first win against the Nationals in the last three times that they have faced them. Leading the Warriors to victory were Lachlan Stanley in net, the Zach attack on defence (Zach Scrimgeour and Zach Schultz) and Liam Ollson on the offence with three assists. Scoring for Stratford were Ellis Schnurr, Rowan Smith, Schultz, Dylan Abel and Matthew Benner. Logan Hallock also had a good game getting on the score sheet with two helpers and Jordan Keane had a solid game on the fore check. The Warriors now sit in third place in the Alliance West playoff race with four games in hand on the Nationals. On Saturday in an exhibition game, the Warriors lost 7-4 to the Mitchell Meteors. Hallock lead the way for Stratford with a goal and two assists. Schnurr had two goals and Ollson the other.
