The Holloway Automotive Minor Atom Rep Warriors picked up a final win heading into the holiday season.
On Thursday night the Warriors battled against the London Jr Knights White team in London. Aidan Hill got the call in net and was a key player throughout the game coming up with big glove saves at key moments. Late in the first period, London slid one in on a fluky bounce, but Colin Schultz answered back to open the second, assisted by Blair Stokes. Colin Slattery netted the go ahead goal at the 5 min mark, assisted by Schultz. In the third period Schultz came up with a beauty deke to give the Warriors a 3-1 advantage. Moments later Stokes and Slattery went back and forth multiple times before Stokes pulled the trigger and nabbed the fourth goal for Stratford. A solid feed from Nathan Siebert to Grady Murphy allowed Murphy to go top shelf (where Mama hides the cookies) and make it 5-2. With seconds left in the game Slattery scored again, assisted by Aaron Green and Carter Petrie.
