Last night in Stratford the Warriors fell 2-1 to Woodstock suffering their third defeat in four days. After a scoreless first period, a Woodstock power play goal followed by a goal mouth scramble tally minutes later in the second period gave the visitors a 2-0 lead. With just over ten minutes to play in the third period Nathan Graff and Caleb Musselman teamed up to send Patrick Holloway in alone and after a nifty move on the defenseman, Holloway buried one top shelf to pull the home side within a goal. Despite a handful of good chances to tie this one up, the Navy Vets held on for the narrow victory. Tallyn Soper was solid in the Warrior goal stopping 13 shots.
Sunday in Kitchener a very good defensive battle ended up in a 1-0 win for the Rangers. Soper again backstopped a solid team defensive performance making 21 saves with only a second period rebound goal getting by.
Saturday in Stratford the Warriors were on the wrong end of an 8-2 blowout to a London Jr Knights White team looking for their first win since mid December.
