Cherrey Bus Lines minor bantam rep team recorded an overtime loss and a one
sided win recently in Alliance Constellation AA playoff round robin action.
Thursday in Stratford the visiting Cambridge Hawks scored with 1.4 seconds left in overtime for a 4-3 win. Goals by Carter Musselman and Curtis Taylor in the third period erased a 3-1 Warrior deficit and send this one to the extra period. Erik Smith scored a first period goal for the home side while Ben ten Hag had two assists and Patrick Holloway and Connor Loerzel one each.
Sunday in Sarnia three Warrior goals in the last half of the third period propelled the visitors to a 5-1 victory over the Sting. Caleb Musselman scored twice while Maverick Mulder, ten Hag and Braydon Tinning had one each. Holloway, Loerzel and Brady Ballantyne had two helpers each while Smith, Nathan Graff, ten Hag and Mulder had one each. Tallyn Soper stopped 17 shots for the win in goal.
Stratford and Cambridge will now move on to the Constellation playoff semi-finals.
