Warriors shut out the Hawks
The Rheo Thompson Tier III Warriors traveled to London, October 22 to face the West London Hawks White squad and came home with a 5-0 victory.

The Warriors offence was in high gear getting quality chances but with nothing to show for it until Nate Meadows' buzzer beater shot from the blueline was directed into the back of the net by Ethan Schmidt.
Early in the second, Jason Adair found Ryder Duchesne out front and he flipped it up and over the netminder for a 2-0 advantage. Duchesne set up Adair for his first of the night late in the second as the Warriors held a 3-0 lead after two periods.
Colton Campbell fed Schmidt and he picked it up and fired on net. Luke Hishon was there to tap in the rebound to put the Warriors up 4-0 midway through the frame. Seconds later, Hurley set Adair up for his second of the night.
The forwards and Campbell, Meadows, Ethan Bridges and Alexander Erb all played extremely tight defence, limiting the number of shots the Hawks were able to get.
Keeson DeYoung and Malaika Kibedi shared the shutout.
The Warriors are back in action October 28 and 29 versus the undefeated Oakridge Aeros
