The Minor Pewee MD All Equip Repair & Service Jr. Warriors keep the scoreboard flickering with their fifth league game today against the Burlington Bulldogs White.
With a 12:45P.M puck drop the game started quickly with Logan Hallock and Liam Ollson making two passes and netting the first goal of the game within the first minute. The boys came out hungry and kept offensive pressure with consistent puck movement and shots firing from all lanes. A couple minutes later, Hallock and Ollson worked together again to net the second goal for the Jr. Warriors, with Hallock shooting the puck over the goalie pads. The Jr. Warriors were up 2-0 early and had full control of the ice for the first period. Line mates Dylan Abel and Jordan Keane put up another point part way threw the second. Defensemen Nick Wagner was snake bitten at the net in the second, firing multiple rockets. Despite the Bulldogs getting two of their own ending the period, the red, blue & white defence had a great game giving offensive support, closing the shooting lanes down, controlling the boards, clearing the garbage in front of the net and keeping a bold presence on the ice. (Liam Eddleston, Luke Jackson, Adam Jeffrey, Ellis Schnurr and Nick Wagner). Early in the third Hallock took a shot, that hit the goalies mask and Ollson was on the doorstep to jab in the rebound, putting the Jr. Warriors at 3. Midway threw the third defensemen Schnurr shot a bullet from the point, Hallock picked up the rebound, tipped it to Ollson who netted the final goal of the game, giving the Jr. Warriors a 5-2 Victory and a 5-0 record to date.
