Monday
night the Royal LePage Hiller Realty Warriors hit the road to the big town of
Woodstock. The game was an evenly
matched battle, as both teams took numerous shots but were unable to find the
back of the net. The Warriors were
finally able to get on the board with a shot from Rylan DeBoeck, assisted by
Taten Mikel. The battle continued on as
Woodstock thought they could slip one past
goaltender Ethan Walters with no luck. Owen Bridges snuck another Stratford goal in through the five hole, assisted by Boden Lyons and Tessa Burdett giving Stratford a 2-0 lead. Woodstock tried hard to counter the Warriors attack by pulling the goalie and adding the extra attacker. Woodstock was unable to succeed giving Walters the shutout, and a win for the Warriors.
