On Sunday December 22nd the Stratford Warriors hosted the Burling Jr Cougars White minor bantam team at the Duff. The boys set the tone early, displaying great speed and excellent control of the puck.
Dylan Fischer would net the first goal of the game then Mark Pyzowski would find the back of the net to make it 2-0. The Warriors would continue to cycle the puck to create scoring opportunities and protect the goalie. Nate Framst would score the next goal for Stratford and kept driving to the net to score two more for the hat trick and give the Warriors a 5-0 victory over Burlington. Jesse Merkel was excellent between the pipe earning his 3rd shut out of the season. Assists on goals were; Mark Pyzowski, Owen Gaylor, Gabe Emms and Brett Knechtel.
