This past weekend the Stratford Warriors Minor Bantam squad were busy.
Friday night the Warriors travelled to Waterloo to take on the Wolves and fell 4-0.
Saturday Afternoon on the road again, the Warriors pulled into Kitchener to face off against the Jr Rangers. Stratford started the scoring and would battle back & forth throughout the game and pulled within 1 but an empty goal would finish the game as a 6-4 loss. Scoring for Stratford was; Cole Humphrey, Quinn Appel and Dylan Fischer (2). Assists on goals were; Mark Pyzowski (2), Dylan Fischer, Quinn Appel and Owen Gaylor.
Sunday evening at the Duff, Stratford hosted the Brantford 99ers. With all the forward lines shuffled up, the Warriors were full throttle from the first drop of the puck. With minimal penalties, the Warriors stayed focused and on task. Cycling the puck and making solid passes provided many shots on net which resulted in a 4-1 victory over the 99ers. Jesse Merkel was solid between the pipes even when his stick was caught in the net. Scoring for Stratford was; Nate Framst, Dylan Fischer, Ben Fizell & Mark Pyzowski. Assists on goals were; Dylan Fischer, Gabe Emms, Nate Framst, Brett Knechtel and Jackson Campbell.
