The Stratford Warriors Canadian Tire Bantam Rep team travelled to London to take on the Jr Mustangs White team.
The Warriors would strike first with Sam Jeffrey streaking in on a short handed rush and ripping it home to make it 1-0! The Mustangs would even it up a minute later making it a 1-1 game. 2 minutes later Nate Williams would let a slapper go from the point and Danny Van Straaten would redirct it to make it 2-1 Warriors! And the Warriors didn’t look back, Kaden Brame would score from a nice wrister and shortly after that Danny Van Straaten would score on the power play to make it 4-1 Warriors end of the 1st. The 2nd period the Mustangs would close the gap by 2 making it it 4-3 end of the 2nd. Liam Parsons would shut the door and make some big saves to keep the Mustangs from getting in the score board in the 3rd. And Sam Jeffrey would add 2 empty netters to make it a 6-3 final!
Next up for the Warriors a trip to the regional silverstick in Pelham! Let’s go Warriors!
