SEASON KICK OFF U10

The Holloway Auto Parts Plus U10 Rep team kicked off their season this past weekend, facing off against the Hamilton Huskies and London Jr Knights Green.
Saturday afternoon Sawyer Verspeeten got the first call to net and played a steady and active game against Hamilton, facing numerous shots. The boys battled a hard two way hockey, keeping the huskies to the boards and limiting center action.
The Hat Trick duo, Coleton Schmidt and Josef Moss lit the board up all game, to keep the dogs chasing the Warriors. Nate Micks and Tyler Peck both threw a point up to add to the 2021-2022 seasons first W.
Sunday afternoon, the boys met the Jr Knights Green at Allman Arena. The first two periods were a close end to end action, both teams hitting the mesh. Nash Zacher stood between the pipes for the U10, playing a consistent game, covering his area in blue. Josef Moss snagged two and Coleton Schmidt one against the Knights wall.
The third period the Knights played bee hive hockey, unfortunately keeping the Warriors at a safe distance, limiting offensive chances. The boys fell to the Green Machines 6-3.
