The Evoke Marketing and Promotions Novice Warriors
played a lone regular season game at home this past weekend and came away with
the win in a convincing fashion.
The London Bandits were in town for the event and came out ready to play as they would take an early lead on the Warriors 0:20 into the game, but that would be all the Stratford squad would allow and they continued to tally up the score for a final win in their favour 8-1. Jake Schultz would open the scoring for Stratford on a beauty feed from Hudsyn Chaput, who had a hot stick on the day and netted 4 of his own. Helpers on his goals belonged to Reid Morris, Nate VanBakel, Jack Haines and Piers Murray. Also scoring for Stratford was Maddyx Chaput with the hat trick. Earning helpers on M.Chaput goals were Schultz, Owen Blackburn and Caden Ollson. Carter Keating played a strong game for the Warriors in the net, turning away all but 1 of the 11 Bandits shots he faced.
Next action for the boys will be the North London Nationals who will visit for the 1st time this year on Saturday December 16th and the boys will have an early afternoon tilt back with the Bandits in London on Sunday December 17th.
