Tonight the Dunny's Source for Sports Major Atom MD Team made the snowy truck to Ilderton to face off against their AE Team.
The Ilderton boys came out quick off the draw with goaltender Lachlan Stanley facing 4 quick shots. Ilderton was able to strike first, after 11 shots on net, in the first period. Ending the period, Logan Hallock off the draw, tipped the puck back to Luke Jackson, who made a pass up the boards to Owen Chadwick who beat the Ilderton defencemen right side and found the gap between the post and Ilderton's goalie, to put the Jr. Warriors on the board. Finishing the period 1-1. Stanley played a great 1.5 periods for the Jr. Warriors, stopping numerous shots, robbing the Ilderton players from any offence. Ellis Schnurr had goaltender Devon Loerzel's back in the second, clearing a puck from crossing the goal line, stick side. Ilderton was able to hit the back of the net at the end of the second and two more times in the third. The Jr. Warriors weren't able to net anymore, ending the game 4-1.
