They did it again, LEAGUE WINNERS !!!
The Dunny's Source for Sports Major Atom MD Jr. Warriors Team played their final league game this afternoon vs. Oakridge Aeros. With a 3-3 Final, they solidified FIRST PLACE in league standings, giving them a bi to MD Championships in April.
The boys wrangled with the Oakridge Aeros today at Allman Arena with a 2:00P.M puck drop. The Jr. Warriors hit the ice hard and were all over the Aeros in the first period, pinning them in their end. Ending the first, Liam Ollson took a pass from Jordan Keane and out witted the defence and goaltender to nail a top corner shot for the Jr. Warriors. The second period started in favour of the Aeros who scored their first goal. Ending the second, the Aeros were no match for Logan Hallock and Ollson who beautifully executed a tic-tac-toe play that gave the Jr. Warriors a 2-1 lead. The third period the Aeros put up two more points stealing the lead. Following up on Spencer Murphy's shot, Hallock tucked in the final goal of the game.
