The Dunny's Source for Sports Major Atom MD Jr. Warriors Team faced off against the Sarnia Jr. Sting today at 2:00P.M, for their second playoff game.
The boys had a good game today, #10 Owen Chadwick was on fire! He started the scoring with 2 in the first period, assisted by Adam Jeffrey and Zach Scrimgeour. Spencer Murphy hammered in the next goal short handed late in the first, unassisted. Chadwick completed the hat trick early in the second, assisted by Jordan Keane. Logan Hallock tucked in the rebound from Sammy Binns shot midway threw the second. Finishing the period was Murphy, his second goal of the game with a rebound from Mathew Benner's shot. Starting the third, Mathew Benner cleared his goal, unassisted, followed by a beautiful run from defencemen Ellis Schnurr netting the final goal of the game. Skating away with the 8-0 shut-out was net minder Lachlan Stanley.
