Minor Midgets Lose First League Game, Bounce Back With Shutout Win.
Written by Dave Graff.  The SMHA Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget rep team dropped their first league game in Kitchener mid week only to bounce back with a shutout win in London on Sunday.

Tallyn Soper stopped 27 of 30 Kitchener shots last Wednesday but was the hard luck loser when a late Ranger power play marker gave the home side a 3-2 victory. Caleb Musselman shorthanded and Maverick Mulder scored third period goals for the Warriors to briefly tie the game at 2-2.  Braydon Tinning, Luke Gaylor and Patrick Holloway each recorded an assist.

Sunday in London Nolan Traynor recorded the shutout in a 1-0 win over the London Mustangs White. An early Calaen Trupp goal was the only one of 36 Stratford shots to beat some stellar goaltending in the London net. Zach Carman, with a nice feed to Trupp earned the only assist. The Warriors record currently sits at 8-1-1, good enough for third place in the AA/A Alliance loop two points back of second place Kitchener.
